How do I give you a realistic picture of who and what I am? I thought I would do as is the case in life sometimes and jump straight into the void, trusting that I will land safely.
Accident or luck? I don't know. In any case, I am a native of Paris. Born in 1969, I spent my childhood and youth in the 'city of lights'. Paris, with its world-famous charm was my first source of inspiration, but not my last.
As the daughter of retailers, I received a natural introduction to the world of business. Organizing, buying, selling, negotiating, establishing contacts with people: I witnessed all this as a young girl with my parents. And as far as I am able to judge, all this came very easily to me, and I still have this side to me.
As a young person, I decided to study German language and literature, opening up a world of stories and esthetics to me. The writers took me with them on their travels, nourishing me with images from around the world. Discovery, experience, analysis, association: All this broadened my horizons.
After I became fluent in German, I moved to Berlin. It was here, in this vibrant city, that I discovered that not only did I have a head but also two hands. Over almost fifteen years, I became acquainted with all aspects of theater life from props and costume design to directing. At the same time, I worked full-time as a project manager at a number of different translation companies.
This could have been the end of the story, but it wasn't. Sometimes individuals are gifted with several lives. I was already working with my mind and body, and now it was time for the soul to enter the picture. In 2005, I began to train as a practitioner of reiki, following the traditions of Dr Usui, and I eventually qualified as a teacher. In 2007, I met Daan van Kampenhout, a teacher of traditional shamanic practices and the 'Systemic Ritual®' technique which he developed. Since that time, I have intensively practiced these techniques. I apply them in daily life and conduct seminars in which I share my knowledge.
